Back in 2001, you had to be a Transit heavyweight to get one of these black-laquered plaques. This trolley wire and Marathon trolley ear are historic pieces removed from the Newark City Subway Cedar Street Tunnel. These components were used to feed 600 volts of electricity to the original street cars operated by Public Service Coordinated Transport through the Public Service Park Place Transportation Terminal and the Newark City Subway.
